Moderism

The Jazz Age

I chose The Jazz Age because i like music and jazz is a type of music so i though why not go for The Jazz age.I think The Jazz Age might possible be about a certain year and time where jazz was very popular.I Expect this topic to be about Jazz and lots of things they did in the Jazz Age.I have a second idea that it may be about maybe it was a slang they used for a certain amount of time. Well enough of what i think it is lets find out in my next few paragraphs.

Response: To Jelly Bean

I think this story is really crazy, its a cool one to read but at time you get a misunderstanding. When first reading this story i didn't think i wanted to continue on reading it until i really sat down and focused on what the story was about.I also like how they give good description to what jelly -bean may look like.Jelly Bean or should I say Jim was a very nerves and shy person. When he was younger he had a friend that he could relate to. I know that there are plenty kids that goes and went threw the same things as Jim.

One thing about jelly bean is he doesn't like to talk to much. This story kind reminds me of Forest Gump and Foot Loose in one.But as you read a little more you start to see a change in ole jelly bean.Jelly Bean (Jim) comes out of his shell.Later on Jelly Bean turns his house into a pool hall where people can come & he can interact with everyone who is on the same level as him.Over all this is a good story its a life experience for some people.

A Little about the story:

Jelly Bean is a nick name for a boy named Jim, who lived in Jelly Bean Town. He was born in a white house on a green corner in jelly bean town. Jelly Bean a.k.a( Jim)was a quiet person and kind. Jim ( jelly Bean) was an outsider a running made of poor whites. Jim had a friend who was going through similar things in life. But along with his life came along many other things his family owned some ground that they didn't even know about.Around the age of 15 He went to high school like a typical teenager would and had black snarl ( curls) of hair somewhat like an outsider would be at my school, not only that but he was afraid of girls. For a little change in his pocket he he kept odd jobs due to this he stopped going to parties. Later own Jim was 18 years old and was practically a grown man. At this time the war had broken out and Jelly Bean enlisted as a gob & polished brass in the Chars ton Navy- yard for a year and did the same thing in Brooklyn NY for another whole year. But let me move on to what happened later on in his life in the next paragraph.

After coming back from his little mission out of the state he goes out for a minute on the way back he runs into an old friend . This old friend went threw the same things as jelly Bean during child hood but things had changed with him. But back to the story Jelly bean (Jim) was on his way back and as he walks along the side walk his old buddy drives up beside him and ask Jim would he like a ride back to his designation. On this little ride back Jim's friend describes how things has changed in his life and asks Jelly Bean would he lie to go to a party later on that night.Jelly Bean considered it but him and little buddy had a pack though if something didn't fell right to him. So while at the party jelly Bean sits there and at a split second the girl jelly Bean always liked walks out looking fly as ever and after her appearance was her new friend/ or should i say her boyfriend and all of the joy that was inside went away. Well to make it a little shorter jellybean later changed and became a cool guy. Later on he turn the place into a pool hall and was no longer the outsider. In all this is about a really good card gambler who was very good at what he did. Jim (Jelly Bean) is the Best In Georgia.

My Response to the poems:

Richard Corey's poem is so sad it seem that he had every thing that he wanted but that wasn't what had made him happy. Richard had it all he had fame and fortune but i don't think that all matterd.Mr.Corey had to be a solemn person because he had to be a sad person to have committed suicide. Some people would say they would be happy to have it but another may think different. I think it's sad, it shows you that when you have fame and fortune it doesn't always make you happy. This makes you think twice when you read it again it makes you think did he have any family. Not only that what made him commit suicide. This is a Part of Modernism because it's social problem is the fact someone you may have thought was happy must not be because he committed suicide.

Mending Wall

his poem I'm not really feeling. This poem is crazy i am so confused with what is going on.The only thing i can understand about this poem is about the animals and that they are tying to block something from getting to a certain place. So my opinion on this is not as good i am confused maybe if i read along with someone or if some one can explain it to me i can leave a better response. What I honestly think they are talking bout is how your neighbors cross a line and it makes you act annoyed. This is a social problem because you have neighbors who are like that for real." Why do they make good neighbors?" or Stay where you are until our backs are turned." are good quotes that can back your response to the poem.

A dream Deferred

I can understand the meaning of this poem. From my point of view of what i think it is it's saying what yo dreams do when they don't come true what happens to the dram the goal that you set.Dose this mean that your dreams just flush down the the drain there can be so many explanations of this poem and what they want people to think about the poem.A great quote that can comfort what i am talking about is: "dose it dry up like a raisin in the sun?'' This is a quote that point out what i am trying to say.

The Negro Speaks of Rivers

Personally i think this is really interesting. To all the African Americans this is more understandable to the older crowed.Langston Hughes is a great writer anyway all of his poems hits a spark in someone. But i really like this poem." My soul has grown deep like the rivers." Something others might not understand but to the older generation it's understandable.

Incident

This poem is kinda disturbing because African Americans already had bad experiences coming up in life and for someone to write a poem of a bad experience they had in life while visiting another state its kinda sad that the person had to experience that and that's all they could remember from a trip to Baltimore. Two quotes that points out the main idea that i am trying to get across are:" He poked out his tongue & called me '' Nigger", or the quote when he states "That's all that I remembered." Thats stating a social problem something that has changed but still see till this day.

Realism

A story of an Hour.
A lady known by the name of Mrs. Mallard gets some bad news one day. On this one day the bad news was the death of her husband. Mrs.Mallard was told the bad news from her sister and her husbands friend. At once when she was told the death of her husbands she wept with sadness. As she began to walk away to her room where she did not want any one to follow her she looks at a roomy armchair facing an open window.Out of grief and sadness she sits there and sinks down into the chair. But there is a twist to this. Just to make things short Mrs. Mallard was kinda happy that her husband had passed away because of things that happened in the past with the way he treated her. But just when you think things are over some other surprise burst the bubble of allot. Once when you think things have calmed down it hasn't after hearing the death of her husband and feeling some sorrow but happiness she had start dealing with some issues to. Mrs. Mallard finds out her husband isn't dead after all . So when Brantley Mallard Mrs. Mallard husband comes home and she realizes he hasn't been in an accident ;He didn't even know that it had been one. When he came back it was to late Mrs. Mallard had passed away. Doctors say due to heart disease, of joy that kills.
A social Issue that wanted to solve.
Men should not miss treat women, this is a part of realism because this was and still is an issue fro woman that needs to be solved and fixed, an example of today between the difference of men and women is that men can become president but women cant. Till this day we still have social issues.

"The Battle with Mr. Covey."
One specific thing that points out here is this is a story about slavery one good quote that came out and upon us was; "You have seen how a man was made a slave; you shall see how a slave was made a man."
Frederick Douglas the author of his writing wanted people to see that slavery was a problem, this is what you call realism which in this case we have a problem with slavery. This problem we have needs to be fixed. If this situation was left up to the romantics they would not want you to see the truth they would make it something of an imagination that's the difference between the two. Realist wanted to to see that this are things that are happening in real life that's actually going on; But Romantics wanted you to think differently like it was made up. Realism is focused the social part of life. But when it all falls down as a slave was treated he was getting beaten constantly until one day he got fed up with getting beaten and began to fight back but was unpublished because he was only 16 years old and his master MR. Covey didn't want a bad reputation. So for this he was never punished physically. He just remained a slave for four more years.

A social Issue that needs to be solved:
Is that black men and women were treated unequally . It needs to be solved to the point we are treated equally. This is a social problem because this was something that was really happening but was later fixed.

What Triggers People to Drink?

What is an Alcoholic Beverage? It’s a drink containing ethanol; ethanol is a Central acting drug with a depressant effect. Although in chemistry the definition of alcohol is made of many other compounds? Alcohol is harmful to people because it can put an effect on children, cause a car accident, and can harm your body parts; it also can make you act irrationally. Most people become alcoholic’s because of things that may be going on in life.

One important thing that it can have a big effect on is a child. Drinking can affect kids in many ways especially when drinking you never knows what you may do after you drink. This could make you become abusive to your kids and also show a side of you that you wouldn’t want your kids to see. Not only can that be an effect but you don’t want your kids to see you drinking because most kids follow a roll in monkey see and monkey do and then sadly it will be a 50/50 chance your child or the youth that is around will become an alcoholic. Some research has shown that 80% of high school kids have tried alcohol. A way to prevent kids from using alcohol is to take more action in telling kids not to drink. You can also remind them that drinking doesn’t make you cool. Not drinking and not harming you and others is what makes you cool.

There are many other reasons why you should not drink, a good example drinking while driving. One of the most deadly weapons, while drinking and driving is putting innocent lives in danger. Many may think they can drink and drive but they can’t. While driving under the influence there are many consequences to come along with it. These consequences are getting your license took and possible doing some time depending on what happens in that particular situation. An example of a drunk driver is A.J. “Jake” Pennon his grandfather had reached the panhandle of Florida, when a drunk driver entered the interstate going the wrong way and had a bad car accident head on just one innocent life was token just that quick because one person thought they could drive under the influence.

Drinking can also do harm to your body in many ways. Heavy drinking can lead to bad body damages not only on the outside but also in the inside. Heavy drinking is most commonly associated with the liver damaging it can also effect the digestive cardiovascular, immune & endocrine system. Alcohol enters the blood stream & becomes disputed throughout the body. The liver is especially sensitive to the effects of alcohol because it receives blood directly from the intestines. Alcohol abuse is the leading cause of liver-related deaths in the U.S. Over2 million people suffer from some form of alcoholic liver disease. Sadly to say I should not wish such a sad thing like this to happen to any one but you have to stop drinking in order to prevent putting your life and body in danger. Out of experience in life I have a family member who died because of alcohol. One of my uncles on my dad side of the family had such a hard time drinking that it leads him to his death bed. When we first notice that alcohol was getting the best of him was when he came around you could smell alcohol on him even if he had not been drinking , my mom told me it was because the alcohol had token a toll of his body and now even when he doesn’t drink you still can smell it. No later than five months later he was put on dailies. Seven months after that he passed away.

You should also take in consideration that drinking can make you act out of character by this I mean, it could cause you to get behind the wheel of a car and cause a bad accident. You can also get hold of a weapon and possibly harm someone, fighting, are maybe constantly annoying someone. There are many other reasons on why alcohol can make you act irrationally. Which means lacking usual or normal mental clarity or coherence? The place where most people drink and act out of character is at a club when people drink and at times get into altercations at the club because of drinking and the effects that it has.

In all what I’m trying to say is please don’t drink its not as good as it may taste or even seem to be. As you may see drinking has many bad effects that come along with it. After reading this I hope to have changed some people’s minds about drinking. To any and every one who has read this essay I know you may not stop drinking or at lease consider stopping or slow down on drinking. Drinking is something that lots of people like to do but can led to many harmful things.

Dark Romanticism

1.Nathaniel Hawthorns: was different from transcendentalist b/c he thought that that the things they believed was wrong and knowing the fact that his relatives was a big part of what they believed in he was embarrassed of them. His family belived in the fact everyone was pure and good and that they could communicate with god in thier heads. But nathaniel thought diffrent.

2.Herman Melville: Was a Dark Romantic an opposite of a transcendentalist an example of his experience of being different was,do to the fact he lost his leg he had a bit of evil that gave him a thought in mind you can lose every one on your ship and including your ship just to get back at a whale that had bitten your leg off, just for the sake of it. Seems to me he didnt want to listen to the trancendentalist , the pure andthe fact he didnt want to listen to God.

3.Edger Allen Poe:was against transcendentalist b/c he basically had a sad and hard life.He didn't believe everyone was pure & good as others thought he thought their was another side of transcendentalist a dark side. Which he had experinced in his life. It was a total diffrence from Trancendentalist.

I would consider myself as being both a transcendentalist and a dark romantic.I consider myself being both because I can be nice and be a good child listen and do as god asked of me.I can also be a dark romantic and just become a mean unfit person to be around once i get upset.

The Black Cat
This story is about a man who has a love for animals. A little later on he gets married to a woman who loves animals just as much as he did. A while after being married they bought a whole bunch of animals birds, gold fish, a fine dog , rabbits,a small monkey , and a cat,by the name of Pluto. But on this one day Pluto takes the wrong turn and bites the hand that feed him.In that one bite from this black and angered cat evil cam amongst him(the man) while still intoxicated with gin this very angered man takes the cat by his neck and snatches his eye out .On that very next day he hangs the cat, and while doing it he cries. After all this happened and have done so much harm another cat comes along with a missing eye and a strange white patch on its chest. This cat became a favorite to his wife and on this day of him drinking he gets ready to kill the cat again and his wife comes between them doing that , and he kills her instead. After killing his wife goes looking for the cat but it was no where to be found. Not Knowing what he should do with his wife's body so he puts her body into the wall. A little after time goes by police come by out of suspicion and he just about gets off with the murder until the cat comes along and makes a loud scream in the wall and at that moment he had been caught. One of the direct qoute's is , "My original soul seemed, at once, to take its fight from my body; and a more than a fiendish malevolence, gin-nutured, thrilled every fibre of my fame." Here he is stating how he could tell how he felt when he changed into a diffrent person he bacame an evil man.

Response:
I really like this story. The way that they described the cat and all the rest of the intersting things that went on in this dark tale.I used my dark imagination to understand this story.Seems to me he only got angary when he start drinkin, and when the cat was around.Onlything I see that could have been added was a mane for the Man in this story.

Edger Allen poe:
This is about a young boy who growed up a sad life and seem to follow him to his death bed.At an early age. He had many wives and they all died of TB and for one of his wives he wrot a poem for her while she was in the other room dying while this was going on a bird known as a raven comes along and was a part of his life till he died in 1849.

Essay

The blessing that came to me when I was having a hard time in life was Communities in Schools who brought Classic City Performance Learning Center to me. I had death in my family, and school was not going well. Communities in Schools and Classic City Performance Learning Center are a blessing. The things they did helped me get back on the right track in life and in school. School at my old school, Cedar Shoals was hard because I had to deal with problems at home and then the drama at school. It was not good for someone who is going through so much. Dealing with these things affected me badly in school. Here at Classic City Performance Learning Center, I found a place where I can turn everything around and make something good out of my problems, and out of my life.

My sophomore year at Cedar Shoals was hard for me. I was juggling three tragedies at once. Both of my nephews, five and one months old, died in the hospital only two years apart. I also had to deal with the death of love between my mother and father. They were going through a divorce, and it was final on my sixteenth birthday. My troubles didn’t end there; I was also having a hard time at school. I started letting these things effect me terribly. My grades dropped, and I missed so many days I had no credits. My returning back to school was going to get me and my family out of the lifestyle we were living. These things were going to get started by me going to school getting my diploma and pursuing my dreams.

At a certain point in my life I realized I had to get my life together, and going back to school was only the beginning. That’s when my blessing came along and I was told about Communities in Schools. I wanted to be at a place that would enable students like me, whose academic success had been threatened, to become successful students. On March 26, 2007 I became a PLC student. I am so happy and proud to be a PLC student till this very day. I love the way the school is because I feel like an adult who is respected greatly. A few things I love the most about PLC is the fact that they allow you to work on computers at your own pace. The teachers here at PLC help you one- on -one unlike other schools. I also like the fact there am no school on Fridays. The best feature of all is that they have a day care for single mothers who want to come back to school.

Ever since I have stared at Classic City PLC I became a student of many values. I must say that this is a blessing. When I graduate, I want to give my utmost respect, honor and more to Communities in Schools. I plan to go to college and become a big time model, dancer, singer or maybe even a fashion designer. Whatever my outcome is, when I become rich; I want to donate money to Communities in Schools and Classic City Performance Learning Center. I will never forget how my life changed thanks to Communities in Schools and Classic City Performance Learning Center.

Transcendentalism

Transcendentalism were Romantics, they believed god spoke to people in their minds and their hard work. But not only that but they thought all humans were good and pure.Another thing they believed was God communicated through nature and spoke to individuals.

Nature

In this summary Ralph Waldo Emerson was trying to describe the way transcendentalist and himself felt and believed about nature. They believed nature changed the way people felt and their age difference. In one of his paragraphs he stated " the sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and heart of the child." Which means when I am around nature alone i feel like a child who has just gotten a new toy I am amazed.Another quote I liked and showed a good stand point of what transcendentalism is. This quote was when he said I become a transparent eyeball;I am non thing;I see all;the currents of the universal being circulated through me I am part or parcel to god. Now what he is saying that I am invisible and i am a piece of god,and i can also see beyond my life when i am around nature alone. This connects to transcendentalism because it talks about nature and nature is one of the major stands in Transcendentalism.

Self- Reliance

In this summary Ralph Waldo Emerson describes how the way society is and that you should be self- reliance and be yourself not like everyone else. Basically Ralph is saying you should not want to be the same as everyone else because god something has something planned for you, not what he has planned for someone else.(Quote from his summary) is " Society everywhere is in conspiracy against the manhood of everyone of it's members. In other words its saying society is working against everybody. In this type of things you would find a Non Conformist a good example of this is Brittney Spears. A non conformist is some one who dose the opposite of what every one else think that she or he may do. "To be great is to be misunderstood" in other words he is say to to be great you have to break away from what every one else is doing to get yo credit from being different.

Resistance to Civil Government

Resistance to Civil Government, is a summary by Henry David Throes. In this summary it explains how certain people from the transcendentalism thought they should have a government while others thought different.Others thought different, they thought it wasn't necessary to have a government if i can communicate with god in my mind. The point was that if i can talk to god then why should i need a government ,god would tell me to do something that was wrong. In the end an "Individual Mind is the most powerful instrument".

Scenarios:
The scenario that i picked was about Chris who is a college senior and wants to change his mager so that he can teach. Its understandable why his wife doesn't want him to become a teacher because the salary is different from a lawyers salary. If it was me i would be understandable a be supportive.

Transcendentalist think god talks to people in their head so he probably would not worry about others & just stick to what god wants him to do.Maybe even do work witch is teach for that's what god wanted him to do."Transcendentalist belived that god spoke through peoples minds & their hard work".

Another quote: Since god spoke to through individuals, maybe Chris was just one of those individuals god had spoken to and changed Chris mind to become a teacher.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

The legend of sleepy hollow is a very intersting story. When i first heard of a sleepy hollow was when i saw a movie known as Sleepy Hollow. The movie and story are two different things. In the movie there are things going on or you may say happening that's not in the actual story/ or book.Actor Johnny Dept is the main character who played in the movie Sleepy Hollow.Mr.Dep played a major role in this movie as a scientist who is investigating on the headless horseman. In the story or the book which ever you prefer you do not hear much about an investigator.

This American Romanticism is involved with a sequestered glen who has long been known by the name of sleepy hollow. He has rustic lads who are known as the sleepy Hollow Boyz.A drosey, dreamy, infunce seem to hangover the land. Some people thought it was bewitchied by a high german doctor.Every one who is amongst this neighborhood is abound with the local tales, huanted spots, and twilight superstition. How ever thier are some domanite spirits that hunts that region. But there is also time for love. There is this girl, the daughter of Balt Van Tassel, a nice girl who gets her way because her dad wants to make her happy and,her mother dose her own thing, she thinks that girls can raise thier selves. But the dughter of Mr.tasssel has had a man fall in love with her.
Their are many different tales to this story. But to make this story short and, to let you hear a little about it so you will be interested in reading it. The young fellow in this story went out looking for an explanation basically to see if the tells of this story was true.So one day he goes out into the woods and i guess you can say he found an explanation to what he wanted to know, along with that came fear. The fear was of a headless horseman mounted up on a black horse of a large frame. For a moment he had to deal with his fear the headless horsemen and him where amongst each other for a while.Until they reached the road where sleepy hollow turns off.On this day that horsemen kept going as the man thought to him self if i ca get to the other side of the bridge i should be safe at the as he speak that he feels the feeling of the horsemen around him and that feeling was true after a period of time lets say about four minutes the horsemen flies by him like a whirlwind. In the end the headless horsemen was at rest or is he.

This story is romantic because, Romanticism is based on imagination. In this story a headless horseman would be what you would have to use an imagination on.No one can be alive with no head and steal be living and going around do things that people alive are doing.

In the poem Thanatopsis Washington Irving was trying to explain to the people in the city that you should come to the country where you can be happy unlike the life in the city. You should not be afraid to die when you feel that you are about to die think of nature. In the end he is saying every one is equal no one is higher than anyone else everyone should be treated like a king a queen the most up highest. It's basically based on Nature, Imagination, and the the fact of how everyone should be treated equally. To brake it down all into one this is what you call Romanticism.

This is about both poems : Natuer speaks in diffrent ways, but when you think of death think of natuer in all the good that is of natuer,To sum the poem up thou shall lie down showing ordinary people are as good as the wise and more.

The Rope Walk:Rope walk is about this man who is inside this ship with little windows that are not that big and him and some others are making a rope.He has been doing this horrible job for a while now that his imagination has him thinking he has a spider web in his head with a spider inside the spider web.As he keep working doing this horrible job he starts using Romanticism. As he start usin romantacism he is seeing the rope being used as different things like a woman swinging on a rope, he saw the rope being used at a well and many other things. Being that he used his imagination with the rope, was his example of Romanticism.

Emmett Till

Emmett Till

Emmett Louis Till also known as "Bobo’’was born July 25th 1941 in Chicago Illinois. Emmett was the son of a proud mother and father Mamaie Till and Louis Till. In 1955 Emmett Till and his cousin were sent to Money, Mississippi for a summer to stay with his great uncle Moses Wright. Just before Emmett left his mother cautioned him to mind his manners with white people, and gave him his fathers ring.

On August 21st Emmett arrived in Money, Mississippi. On the date of August 24, 1955 Emmett met up with other teens his age. They all went down to Bryant’s grocery and meat market to get some candy and soda. While in the store Emmett decided he would show some of his pictures of his life back home. According to Wikipedia, in one of the pictures there was a picture of Emmett and his white girlfriend. They couldn’t believe that Emmett had a White girlfriend. After looking at the pictures they dared him to talk to a white woman in the shop. People say that till was leaving the store and said "bye baby" to Carolyn Bryant, who was a married white woman. According to goggle research she was very upset she stood up and looked at him means and walked out to her car.

The news greatly upset her husband when he heard of it upon his return from out of town several days later. Wheeler Parker Jr. (Emmett’s cousin) who was with him at the store said Emmett did nothing but whistle at the woman. In Mississippi they didn’t see that appropriate to do if you were black and doing that to someone white. Now according to Carolyn she stated that till had grabbed her by her waist and asked her for a date. She also made a statement that Emmett used "unprintable" words. "He had a slight stutter and some have conjectured that Mrs.Bryant might have misinterpreted what till said".

When 24 year old Mr. Bryant returned three days after his wives encounter with Till everyone in Tallahatichi County had heard about it. Bryant decided that him and his half brother J.W. Milam 36 years old would meet at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday " to teach the boy a lesson" On August 27,1955 at 12:30 a.m. Bryant and his brother J.W. kidnapped Emmett Till from his great uncles house in the middle of the night. According to About.com witness had said they drove him to a weathered shed on a plantation in neighboring Sunflower County. They brutally beat and then shot him. They put a fan around his neck to weigh down his body. Later after beating him to death they threw his body into the Tallahatchie River. According to Bob Daylan they found Emmett’s body floating to the top with a look of foam floating around in the water. The two brothers and police tried to convince the people that Emmett Till was in Chicago, and the beaten boy was someone else. The reason they recognized him because Emmett Till was wearing his father’s ring that his mother gave him before he left. On August 29th the brothers were arrested after spending the night at a relative’s house in Ruleville, Mississippi.

According to wikipedia this location was miles from the scene of crime. After being under investigation the brothers admitted they had taken Till from his great-uncles yard and then they said they turned him loose the same night. After Till's horribly disfigured body was found, he was put into a pine box and nearly burned, but Mamie Till( Emmett’s mother) wanted to bring her son home back to Chicago where he belonged . The Tutwiler mortuary assistant back in Mississippi worked all night to prepare Emmetts body the best they could before they sent him back home to Chicago. According to my research the Chicago funeral home had agreed not to open the casket, but Mamie Till fought it. Sometime after the state of Mississippi wouldn’t allow the funeral home to open it, Mamie threatened to open it herself, insisting she had a right to open the casket to see her difugerd son.She also left it open for every one who came to the funeral. She left the casket open allowing people to take photos and letting people see how bad Emmetts body was disfiguerd.

On September 6 Emmett’s body had been buried in Burr Oak cemetery in Alsip Illinois.
This is based on a true story this needs to be taken very serious. Looking back at this story is just shows a little of how bad African-Americans were being treated. I don’t think its fair how we (African- Americans ) were beaten and killed like we werent even human. I guess from others eyes African Americans were some what like animals we got no respect from no one but our race. This made a big impact on the civil rights movement and thanks to Martin Luther King Jr. we no longer live with this night mare.

Rationlalist

The difference between Puritanism and rationalism is that the Puritanism believed that every thing that happened was because of god.Rationalism's believed in science but did respect the honors of god.In the 1800's Americans called it the Age of Rationalism. A word that breaks down everything is Deism which is a form of belief it is based on science and mathematics.

Rationalist wanted to believe that human society was ran by natural law.Puritans wanted to believe it was very important to plead to god.

From my point of view i think he improved his life when he became on of the most famous important founding fathers of the U.S. Along with the improvement was author, printer, a postmaster, almanac maker chemist tinker, statesman and may other things only thing he wasn't was a poet.Benjamin Franklin is a good example of rationalist because he is a man of his word and beliefs he goes and accomplish all these things he has wanted to do and is a legend for it.

Expressive: I express myself threw many things

Accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are disposed to suffer while evils are suffer able. than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. In other words they are saying The king gets all the things he do and learn from god but there is more to it than just that. Some things that the people wrote about the situation is he has waged cruel war against human nature itself , he has incited treasonable insurrections of our fellow citizens, he has also abdicated government here while withdrawing his governors and declaring us out of his allegiance and protection.

Models

What is a model, and what is modeling? A model is a person who poses or displays something that wants or needs to be sold for purpose of art fashion or other products and advertising like Swimsuits. Modeling is distinguished from other public performance such as in acting, dancing, or mime artiste. There are many types of modeling you can also break modeling down into many sections, the history, plus size models, Hip-Hop models, it’s easy to be a model, Who can and will be Americas Next top model, The whole idea of a model is …
During the first half of the 20th century, most models were considered of low morals. Vogue’s first cover of living woman was in 1932. In the 1950 the society became more fluid in other words something that was really popular. Modeling became and was the path to rich and a well-bred husband. Later in the 1960s it became a path for rich and badly behaved boyfriends. The first models to come along in history were Janice Dickinson, twiggy, Kate Moss, Lauren Hutton, and Marie Hooligan. These models have paved the way for all the models of today, two of our models today are Tyra Banks and Selita. The models from the past made it easier for the models that model today. Their walk, their photos and not only that but how to deal with other situations to become model .The models who paved the way didn’t only teach but motivated young models like myself to become a model. Any one can be a model if the put their mine to it and follow simple skills. The four most important thing is to have a walk that show you are selling that dress and every one else is watching and thinking, "I got to have that." Your style should be unique. No one else should be able to appear on the runway with the same style and attitude that you have. Your facial expression should show that no matter what you think, "I look good in this". It should look as if you know what it takes to sell the outfit. Photos are also very important. You should have pictures that show you can sell your outfit that you are advertising, and when people look in a magazine they say, "I’ve got to have that" .The things I’m explaining are a few good techniques you learn when modeling.
When being a model your appearance is everything. Your appearance doesn’t just stop at a photo shoot or on the runway. Your appearance is something that you have to carry when you eat, sleep, shop and everything because you never know were the paparazzi will be to take that one bad photo of you when you appear the worst. That’s why you should always be careful of your appearance and what you were, so that you can always make a good appearance.
Photos of a model should be unique and different from any other photo, person, and image. When you go on a photo shoot the things you did at the last photo shoot should be different. Sometimes when you take photos you might have to do a little acting in order to get the look that they want or need. Most photographers like the look of fierce, a fierce look makes a great picture. One model that knows a lot about great pictures and being a great model is Tyra Banks.
One very talented model is Tyra Banks .At the age 17-Tyra Banks was singed to a modeling agency called Elite. Tyra was known as the best supermodel of the 1990s. She was also the first African American to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She was a former model who now has a popular TV reality show America’s Next top model it’s a reality t.v. Show that allows people to have a chance to become a model. Her show helps you become a great model and teach you the life of what a model is. How to take pictures and present to all the others I can be Americas next top model.
In the end IM really trying to get across that modeling is very unique and you would enjoy doing it . Modeling may look easy but if you look at the research you will see it’s not easy as it may seem. But don’t let it stop you any one can be a model.

Project 1 The Puritans.

The Puritans believed that everyone was sinners and everyone who wasn't a saint was going to hell. The only people who would go to heaven because they weren't sinners was the saints. The saints believed that they were elected by god and that they had full power to interrupt the will of god, and live uprightly. If anyone rejects the grace after feeling its power in his life he would be going against his will.Which was impossible.in Puritanism.

On September 6,1620 everything changed. The Puritans went threw allot being on the ship for the amount of time they were on there.Having to see death and people being trowed overboard. While on the ship they were having to deal with harsh weather. Winds that was fierce and the sea waves that were high as mountains, and people inside getting sea sick.At the time they could only wish for the best.

When they reach land they were happy to be at land. Along with the happiness came sadness half of their company died of starvation and sickness. That's not the end of the worst part but there is more hurt to come in January and February they had the most deaths due to the depth of a harsh winter. Many wanted housing while others wanted comfort. Some died two or three a day at this time you could only think would this get any better for them. There was some change to be instore on the date of March 16th when the Indian come and talk to the English men.The Indian came boldly amongst them and spoke to them in broken English. The Englishmen wondered were did he got his language from.He was the chief amongst them and his name was Samoset, and he told the name of another Indian who Squanto who had been to England and spoke better English than him.He though Englishmen how to set their corn catch fish and etc, And he was going to come back again when it was time to harvest.

On the first thanksgiving the Puritans and Indians gathered for a harvest. To many I'm sure that this was a time to remember and not to forget because this is a meal i would have been waiting on for a while with the conditions that have been going on.At the harvest they had fish wild turkey and corn not any corn but Indian corn. This harvest made many afterward write so largely of their plenty here to their friends in England. This was no feigned these were true reports.

So that thus it is that natural men are held in the hand of god, over the pit of hell;they have deserved the fiery pit and are already sentenced to it; This was basically saying anyone who couldn't do as god will they shall surfer the consequence that he has sentenced. The wrath of god is like the great waters that are dammed for the present; they increase more and more and rise higher and higher till an outlet is given. To my understanding if you have sin until you get right with him all your sin's will lead you to be executed.O sinner consider the fearful danger you are in: it's saying be aware of what you have done and now you have to rep the consequence: in order to stay out of this nightmare you should repent unto him.
